More Spring Cards with Not 2 Shabby

Hello my crafty friends! Today I'm popping in to share three more cards featuring the gorgeous new Bloom with Grace release from Not 2 Shabby! Have you checked out all the new goodies yet? I'm just loving the Time for Spring papers and ephemera and that was the jumping off point for this grouping of cards.

Most of the pieces on my card come from a previous cardmaking session, cutting the EZ Wonder Die #1 from two different patterns from the Time for Spring Collection. For this hedgie card, I cut the square piece in half, then arranged the points on either side of the square with circle cut out.  I think this gives a nice accent to draw the eye in to the adorable hedgie image as the focal point of the card.

The stamps are from the Violet the Hedggie stamp set, which is available for individual purchase, or currently the FREE with $60 purchase offer! It's just so darling.  I colored it up with Copic markers and arranged it behind the circle cut out, adding a white circle frame to accent the opening.  The little flower accents are also colored with Copics and fussy cut to add to the circle frame.  I finished off with some chicken wire embossing on the background, which reinforces the diamond pattern in the layout, then added a sentiment strip banner.

For my second card, I leaned into the vintage feel of the Time for Spring Ephemera, choosing this sweet girl as my focal point. To soften the background and add to the dreamy look, I layered a piece of vellum over the patterned paper. I used squares from the EZ Wonder Die #1 and Add-ons to ground her and the sentiment, placing a banner strip behind for accent.

The flowers are a nice background for the bloom with grace sentiment from the Enjoy the Ride set, which was embossed onto white cardstock and then cut with my Brother Scan 'n Cut. Just remember to connect any open spaces with a pencil and you can easily get a nice border. Then you can erase any pencil marks. There are dies available for this set, but they are in limited quantities.

For today's final card, I leaned into the adorable images from the Enjoy the Ride stamp set, coloring them with Copic markers in colors to match the Time for Spring papers.  To give the effect of movement, I embossed the butterfly with trail onto vellum cardstock and then cut out with my Brother Scan 'n Cut.  I then stamped the butterfly again on white cardstock, colored with Copics and fussy cut just the butterfly out, adding a little dimension to the wings when I adhered it over the vellum image.

To tie in some of the dreamy spring colors, I used a little ink blending in pinks and blues on a swiss dot embossed white panel.  I finished off with the hello spring sentiment and some of those sweet Spring Bliss Sparkly Enamel Dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fabulous start to your week!
