Jaded Blossom November Release Blog Hop

I love making ornaments for Christmas gifts, so I was super excited to see Jaded Blossom is offering MDF Gnomes ornaments you can decorate with paper! Since it's Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop time, I knew I wanted to make a coffee gnome ornament, so I cut out my Gnome Die pieces from white cardstock and got to coloring with alcohol markers.  Next I cut out the headband, coffee beans, and cup and saucer from the new Gnome Dies: Coffee Add Ons and colored those up. I glued everything down with adhesive and tied a matching taffeta ribbon to hang the ornament. 

I then decided I wanted to make some gift packaging for my ornament. I pulled out the Paper Bag Die and got to work creating a fun little bag. I originally planned to put the ornament inside the paper bag, but I couldn't bear to cover him up, so decided to just tuck the ornament loop in the bag. To accent the bag, I created a flower with the Small Poinsettia Die, then added a sentiment from the Merry Christmas Gnomie set.

When it's time for gift giving, I can just slip a gift card inside and I'm ready to go. Yay!
