Turkey Time Catchup

So, a little past the date, but I just found this post in my drafts. Apparently in all the bustle of the holiday, I never actually clicked publish! So here it is. Our turkey wasn't nearly as cute as this little guy, but it was delicious!

Hi friends! It’s Thanksgiving Day here in the states and I can’t believe how fast this year has flown. Today I’m sharing a cute little Thanksgiving card featuring the Turkey Day set from Not 2 Shabby.

I colored this sweet little turkey image with Copic markers and then cut with my Brother Scan n Cut (although there are coordinating dies). The tag and scallop rectangle are created with the Mini Mat & Tag Dies 2 from Sunny Studio Stamps. I cut them from the Autumn Vibes and Gingerbread Kisses paper pad from Not 2 Shabby paper pad, then layered onto Kraft card stock I had stenciled with the Fall Leaves stencil from Jaded Blossom and some distress oxide inks in fall colors. I finished with a twine bow for the tag and a little gold stickles to accent the design on the paper.

Cute turkey card. Eh, we all get busy during the holidays. Great turkey idea for next year, though. Thanks for sharing.
