Coffee Loving Gnome

Hi friends! Welcome to a brand new month! October is my absolute favorite month of the year, and it's starting off with a bang with a beautiful new release from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!

Y'all know I love coffee, right? So if there's a gnome holding a mug, you better believe that's the first stamp I'm grabbing!  And that was exactly the case with this adorable gnome from the new Winter Gnomes set! How seriously cute is he?

I started by stamping with Copic safe ink and coloring with Copics in blues to match this fun winter paper I had in my stash.  I then masked off the image and sponged in the sky with aqua ink, varying the pressure for a dreamy look and then sprinkling with white ink for a little slow.  I sketched in a little snow beneath his feat with a grey marker and matted this panel with navy card stock.

For the sentiment, I stamped the warm and wishes on a circle die cut, then stamped one of the snowflakes from the set randomly around the words and ink blended around the edges.  I finished with a background panel of patterned paper and some matting on this 3.5" x 8.5" slimline card.

If you love coffee cards, be sure to head on over to the SNSS blog for the National Coffee Day Blog Hop.  There is so much inspiration and prizes to be found along the hop!
