Reverse Confetti New Release Hop

Hi friends! It's time for another fantastic New Release Hop with Reverse Confetti! They turned 7 years old in May, so we're celebrating with a fantastic birthday release! There's even an incredibly cute freebie with a qualifying purchase! Check the shop for the inside scoop.

If you've hopped along from Lisa Henke's blog, then you're in the right place. Otherwise, be sure to head to the Reverse Confetti Blog to start the hop, because you don't want to miss a thing!
Products are shipping now, so head on over to the shop to check out all the new goodies. I've linked up all the new products in the link list at the bottom of this post.

My first card features the adorable new Party Pals set. This bunny with her sweet little cuppy stole my heart! I've been craving a cupcake from Smallcakes for months, and we finally made it out for a pickup run this weekend to take to a friend's house. So yummy! I always get the vanilla with pink frosting, so you better bet I had to color this one up with pink frosting!  I stamped on smooth bristol, then colored with Zig clean color real brush markers. When I had the image and the balloons done, I cut them out with the coordinating confetti cuts.

I selected some paper from the Winter Wonder paper pad that reminded me of the Smallcakes boxes and cut with the See Through Tag Confetti Cuts. Then I built the sentiment to fit inside the opening. I stamped the two scripted sentiments in black, then the ampersand in magenta, then adhered behind the window opening. I popped the tag up on a foam sheet, then tied a twine bow and accented with a rhinestone.  The scallop bottom is done with the Double Edge Scallop Border Confetti Cuts, then I added some white gel pen accents.  The background panel is embossed with a dots embossing folder, then I layered everything together to finish things off. Such a fun card to create.

My second card for today uses the fabulous new Friendly Rainbow set. This set is a free gift with a qualifying purchase, and makes my rainbow loving soul so happy!  I started by stamping the rainbow in black ink, then coloring with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I then offset the Hello Friend sentiment just a touch and stamped in black to give a nice highlight to the letters.

The clouds are stamped separately, colored with a light purple and gray, then coated with stardust stickles.  I fussy cut these three stamped pieces and added to a square panel that I embossed with an old 6 x 6 rays embossing folder.  I popped the clouds up on foam tape, then embossed the missing you sentiment in white on midnight cardstock.  I added a black mat to the square panel, then finished off with a 5.5" square card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I had so much fun creating these projects and I just know you're going to LOVE this release! Guess what? There is still more inspiration to be found along this hop! Be sure and check out each of these talented artists for their creations with this fabulous new release. Happy hopping!

Your next stop on the hop is the talented Janette Kausen.

Julee, both your cards are wonderful! Your colouring on the first card of the critter & cupcake & balloons is so well done. Both your cards represent happiness & I'm sure they'd give it to the receivers. Thanks!
