I started out with the idea of making a SUPER clean and simple card and using the this took forever sentiment as a bit of a joke. Although anyone who has ever tried clean and simple knows that it really CAN take forever!
I embossed the sentiment from One of a Kind Stamp & Cut in gold on white cardstock, then pulled out the May My Monthly Hero kit, and embossed the for you card in gold and cut with the coordinating die. I then ran a strip of washi down the side. At this point I was going to call it quits, but decided to use a Falling Dots embossing folder on the top half of the card.
When it was done, it didn't stand out as much as I would like so I ended up adding gold stickles to all the embossed dots, which really did take forever! 😁
