As always, you're free to play along with any papercrafting products your heart desires. Use the sketch as inspiration for your creation, then come link it up below so I can come take a look! The linky for this challenge will close on May 19, 2019. I have included dimensions on the graphic later in this post, but feel free to change them up to suit your needs.
My card today uses the fabulous new Happy Couple set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. Be sure to check out their website to see the entire May release. As always, there's free US shipping and a free Stamp of the Month stamp set with a $75 order.
I started with this fun happy couple image, lightly watecoloring with Dyestress blendable inks, To add a little somethin' somethin' to the card, I stamped the cake image from the set a couple of times and then fussy cut just the flowers to add to her bouquet and veil. I used a little glue gloss (love this stuff) and twinkle dust glitter for some shine!
I cut this image out and matted with black cardstock, then set it aside to work on my background. A friend of my husband is getting married this weekend, and they're a bit non-tradtional so I went with a modern kind of card. I used a brick stencil on bristol cardstock and sponged on Princess, Aster, Mulberry and Cabernet Dyestress Blendable inks for a fun background. I absolutely love the new colors in this line. To read a bit more about them, head on over to the Splitcoast Product Focus I'm part of this month.
To finish the card, I made a sentiment strip from black cardstock, embossing the congratulations sentiment in white, then cutting and folding with the aid of the MISTI Cut-Align. Love how easy it makes creating those fun dimensional banners.
Okay, now it's your turn! The sketch is a bit on the simple side this month, but feel free to jazz it up however works for your style!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a super creative start to your week!

Love this stamp set and your beautiful card!
A great sketch Julee and I love your congratulations card. I love the ombre brick detail - such a clever way to incorporate colour when the main image is predominantly black and white.
Fabulous card!
Thank you for the sketch and inspiration :)
