Hi friends! Today I have a post over on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog. Check over there for a fun little shaker card I made using the Fill Me Up set I'm featuring here today.
As I was organizing my desk a bit to fit in some new gizmos that Santa brought, I came across an envelope filled with backgrounds I made using the Clearsnap Blendable Dyestress Inks I reviewed for Splitcoaststampers last fall. This particular background used the fruit punch and scuba colors smooshed onto watercolor paper to create a splashy background.
I stamped the cup from Fill Me Up on another background using dyestress inks and fussy cut. I also embossed just the steam portion of the image onto vellum and fussy cut to layer behind my cup. The sentiment is embossed on a vellum die cut heart that is layered over a die cut heart cut from a background I made pairing the Wood Backgrounds set with the Distress Ink Monoprint technique from Jennifer McGuire. This tecchnique makes two backgrounds, and I used the softer one here and the bolder one on the card I'm sharing today on the SNSS blog. I did a bit of ink blending arund the edges, then layered this over a rectangle frame I made using the Hero Arts rectangle infinity dies. I finished off with some nuvo drops around the frame and over a heart I stamped in fruit punch, fussy cut, and placed on the cup.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Be sure to hop on over to the SNSS Blog to see the other card I'm sharing. Here's a little peek...
