Here's what I did:
1. Cut a 4 x 5.25" piece of the star paper (Tim Holtz Retro Grunge
2. Cut a 4" strip of vellum cardstock and tore at around 2.5"
3. Cut sentiment panel and mat with Labels 1 Nestabilities
4. Stamped and embossed the DAD stamp on the label with first Walnut Stain, then Frayed Burlap and clear detail embossing powder
5. Stamped and embossed the text block three times on the vellum strip with Walnut Stain and clear detail ep
6. Sponged Antique linen all over vellum piece, then sewed along edge to star paper
7. Distressed edges of two largest panels with a paper distresser
8. Pierced hole in center of star paper, then threaded linen thread around just the one side three times
9. Added the Dad label with dimensional foam tape
10. Glued everything to a cream A2 card base

Paper: Retro Grunge Paper Pad (Tim Holtz), cream cardstock (Neenah), vellum cardstock (SU!)
Ink: Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap, Walnut Stain (Ranger Distress Ink)
Accessories: sponge, Labels 1 Nestabilities (Spellbinders), linen thread (The Cat's Pajamas), paper distresser (Tonic), clear detail embossing powder (Judikins), sewing machine
