Still the One

Eleven years ago today I married the love of my life. He's my best friend, my soul mate, my Puzzle Quest nemesis and the best thing that's ever happened to me. I still get twitterpated when he walks into the room. :) So in honor of our anniversary, I decided to make today's Our Creative Corner challenge a lovey dovey challenge! You can make either love of a lifetime/anniversary projects or just something for that special someone who makes you go all lovey dovey. My card features an adorable image from the Caketopper set by Pink Poison. I saw this image and just knew I had to have it to make a very special anniversary card. And since our wedding colors were navy and silver, that's the color combo I went with for the card. When I look at this card, I can almost picture us dancing to Once Upon a December at the reception. What a magical time. Anyhow, I'm sappy today - I'll try to stick to the card from here on out, though!

I stamped the image on Pearlized White cardstock and then colored with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. The silver is Brushed Silver from SU! which I embossed with the snow dots Cuttlebug folder. The scallop square and 5.25" square card base are Night of Navy cardstock. The sentiment is from the Verve Feeling Groovy set and I framed it with some Styled Silver Hodgepodge, attached with some silver and navy ribbons. I finished off with a little Stardust Stickles.
