Today's card features some of my older Basic Grey paper from the Gypsy line. The colors are really rich and vibrant and although outside of my usual color palette - they always make me smile! And I just love my new Build a Flower set by Autumn Leaves. There are so many possibilities with these flowers! I can't wait to have a little more time to play around with all the pieces. The layout of the card is for Sketch Challenge 116 on SCS.
I started by stamping the petal stamp and the flower center on Gypsy papers in Black Stazon and cutting each piece out. Next I glued onto a Basic Black Rectangle and dotted around the corners with a White Sakura Glaze pen. I used orange stickles around each petal and in the flower center.
To finish, I layered this panel onto another piece of Gypsy patterned paper and a solid orange piece of Gypsy, matted on a Basic Black cardbase. I used my Black Sakura Glaze pen to dot around the patterned panel and added some black organdy ribbon for the finishing touch.

Oh my goodness Julee! You are my stamping goddess!! I bought this set a couple of weeks ago and haven't had much inspiration to play with it. I'm really a visual person and need to see ideas....well, let's just say you've inspired me!! Awesome cards....again!!
Love, love, love this card! It is so happy. I can't believe all the work you did cutting out the pieces. I also love the white accent dots around the petals. I have to do more of this in my cards to add dimension. I now need to dig through my stuff and totally case :> Bettina
That's awesome!! I love the white dots around the petals and the colors are wonderful.
The colors are great! I'm not usually an orange-lover, but this card is wonderful!
Zowee! Simply fabulous! Love all that orange bling (i.e. stickles)! This card makes me smile just looking at it. Love all the fabulous details with the glaze/gel pens.
