Simply Shabby Card Concept 53

Hi friends!  Happy Wednesday!  It's time for another inspiration challenge over at The Card Concept!

Card by Julee Tilman using Verve Stamps| www.poeticartistry.blogspot.com

I was inspired by the colors and floral patterns to search through my mountain stack of paper pads to find just the right dreamy little shabby chic papers. I then embossed the flower from Simply Amazing on cream cardstock and watercolored, cutting with a circle die and adding a bit of distressing with ink and a paper distresser to the edges.  The flowers are accented with a couple of cabbage roses from my stash and dusted with a bit of Stardust Stickles.

I found a bit of lace that reminded me vaguely of the trim in the photo, then layered my papers together, distressing each with antique linen and vintage photo inks.  For the sentiment. I masked off the "you are" and stamped just the "simply" in soft suede then added the amazing cut with the Amazing Adjectives Word Die Set.
