Mmmmmm... so cozy and warm and Autumnal. (I love that word!) Anyhow, I started with a piece of crumb cake, letterpressed using the Darice autumn leaves embossing folder and some Vintage Photo distress ink. Then I pulled out my Stampin' Pastels. Remember those? I think it's been years since mine saw the light of day, but I wanted to add multiple colors across the piece, so pulled out the chalks. Next I embossed the swirly maple leaf from Harvest Blessings onto Hello Honey cardstock with bronze embossing powder and hand trimmed. The sentiment is from Tall Oaks and is stamped in early espresso and then stamped again a little offset and embossed with bronze. Some distressing with inks and a distressing tool and I was done. It's a pretty simple sketch, which means there's lots of possiblities for making it your own. Can't wait to see what you make! I hope you'll come join us this month over on the Viva la Verve blog!
Alrighty, thanks so much for stopping by! It's a busy week coming up on the blog, starting tomorrow with Release Day at Verve! Hooray!
