Soar

Hi friends!  Can you believe it's Monday already?  Where DOES the weekend go?  Since we're right back in the thick of things, that means it's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch.  And since it's the first sketch of a new month, that means it's CONTEST time!  We'll have up to 7 winners, so be sure to play along for your chance to win!  All the details and inspiration from the rest of the design team can be found over on the Mojo Monday blog.

This is one of my favorite cards I've made in a long while.  I love this sketch by Debbie Carriere, and it just seemed to flow with the concept I had in my mind for the Wings of Love set.

I started with the winged heart image, stamped onto a Labels 14 die cut, then colored with some of the new Copic colors.  I added the little heart duo inside the heart for a little interest and traced around my hand cut black mat with a stardust glitter pen, for a little frame.  The papers are from the Kissing Booth collection by BasicGrey and I embossed the on and the wings of love sentiments in white, then lightly traced over them with a sand copic marker to dull the color a bit.  The soar. sentiment is stamped onto a die cut shape and then clipped on with a mini library clip and a black dream string bow.  I accessorized with some scrunchy velvet/organza ribbon from my stash, then added the mini butterfly (colored with copics to match), two triple pearl stick pens and some black pearls in the corner to accessorize.  The card base is debossed with the hearts embossing folder and I added one little rounded corner for interest.

Well, that's all on the card front.  I hope you have a fabulous start to your week and find a little time to fit some mojo in this week!

Enabler's List:
Stamps: Wings of Love (Verve Stamps)
Paper: Kissing Booth (BasicGrey), Black, cream
Ink: Black, Versamark, Copic markers
Accessories:  Labels 14 Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Mini Tabs Foursome Die-Namics (MFT), hearts embossing folder (Sizzix), mini library clip (SU!), corner rounder, creamy white resin butterfly, basic black dream string, triple pearl stick pins, black pearls (Pizzazz Aplenty)
