Today's card is kind of a smorgasbord of new releases. I love to mix and match, so I started by making my own DP with one of the square pendants from Accent Notes in So Saffron on Barely Banana. I then stamped the stacked heart in between each square in rose red and the double heart (both heart images from Love Monkey) in the center of each square with black and colored with a Copic marker.
Next I cut a circle with a black scalloped mat and embossed the I'm crazy about you sentiment from Love Monkey in black, then randomly stamped the stacked heart around it for a little tone-on-tone interest. For my main panel, I KNEW I wanted to use the little heart clusters from Heart's Desire with the monkey, and I thought it would work well in a heart shape... and it did! The hearts are cut with Nestabilities, and I sponged a little So Saffron ink around the edges. My little love monkey is stamped in the center and I added the double heart to his belly and some heart clusters around him and colored with Copics. Then I finished it all off with a suede knotted bow and tucked a couple litte sweet blossoms in there for accent.

Julee, your latest release is just beyond fabulous..! And all of the DT samples were incredible (I think I actually gasped each time I saw one during the party last night!!).. and you are truly amazing.. I cannot believe that my stamps are already on their way to me.. :) I hope you will be able to get some shut eye very soon! HUGS!!! OH, and I LOVE that monkey!!
