Polka Mojo

Hey everyone! Welcome to another week! There's a new mojo sketch over on the Mojo Monday blog today, so hop on over to check it out. Here's my interpretation of the sketch...

I stamped and embossed the handbag from Express Yourself twice on Barely Banana, then colored with a Copic marker, before trimming one out and popping up over the one on the banana circle panel. The circles were cut with Classic and Scallop nestabilities, then embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder and sponged with barely banana ink.

The rectangles are cut with Scallop Rectangles Nestabilities, and I embossed the sentiment and flourish in black, then sponged around the edges with barley banana. The background is melon mambo and is stamped with the polka dot background from Bountiful Backgrounds. To finish, I added a little polka dot ribbon and some tiny black rhinestones, then a few little accents with a spica glitter pen on the handbag.

What's In It?
Stamps: Express Yourself, Bountiful Backgrounds (Verve Stamps)
Paper: Melon Mambo, Barely Banana, Basic Black (SU!)
Ink: Melon Mambo, Barely Banana (SU!), Onyx Black (Versafine), Copic & Spica pens
Accessories: ribbon, Scallop and Classic Circles and Rectangles (nestabilities), rhinestones, clear embossing powder, sponge
