Mojo Monday Week #9

Happy Monday, everyone! Are you ready for another Mojo challenge? This weekend I worked on some cards I'm sending for the troops and this is the sketch I came up with. It's a relatively easy sketch. Just take a strip of paper the lenth of your card, cut it into two unequal pieces and glue in opposite corners of your card. Then place a circle with embellishment in the center, covering up where the pieces meet. You can use any embellishment you want where the star is, and as always you don't have to use scallops if you don't have punches or dies. Hope you have fun with it. If you do the sketch, link me up in the comments by 10PM Mountain (midnight Eastern) on Sunday to be eligible for the Mojo RAK prize. If you upload your cards to SCS, please use keyword MOJO9, so we can all view your cards throughout the week.

My card uses paper from the DCWV Christmas Glitter Stack and the stamp is from A Rhonna Christmas Card by Autumn Leaves. The poinsettia is from a new bottle of Primas I got recently. I think they're so pretty and sparkly! The circles are made with my new Nestabilities dies, which I just love.

In other news, I've been receiving tons and tons of spam comments the past week or so (to the tune of 25 - 50 per day), so I'm going to turn word verification back on. I know it's a pain, but unfortunately, I think it's necessary.

Hi Julee,
Awesome sketch, awesome card...such a vibrant Christmas card! I tried my hand at it, and I like what I came up with. It looks so much nicer in person, white just doesn't seem to give the right contrast in a photograph, but here it is: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/711015?cat=11082
