Infuse

Today's card uses a simple layout that Beate had as her weekend sketch challenge last week. I pulled out my brand spankin' new Basic Grey Infuse paper for this one. Just love these luscious new designs, and this one said safari to me so I reached for Changito.

I started by stamping Changito Safari by Stampendous in Ancient Page Coal Black and coloring with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. The image is matted on River Rock and then on an Always Artichoke mega scalloped circle. The sentiment is Penny Black stamped in Always Artichoke on River Rock and matted on Always Artichoke. The card base is Bazzill red. There you have it - short and sweet.

My brother and his wife drive in today from Los Angeles for a week. We only get to see them once a year, so it's always exciting when they come. My SIL has recently discovered stamping, so hopefully I'll still be able to fit some stamping in between all the 4th of July festivities.
