Typewriter Love

Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! I've been fighting a pretty bad cold this week and am just now finding a little time to pop in and share about the December Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps release. It's a super FUN one, and I am totally smitten with the set I'm using today.

I have a thing for typewriters. I remember pecking away at one that looked quite a bit like this when I was just a young kid. And since I learned to type on a manual typewriter, I press the keys way too hard and in college my professors nicknamed me "Thunder Keys". Anyhow, when I saw this typewriter image in the new Vintage Love set I literally squealed in delight!

I embossed it and a couple of the flowers in black on smooth bristol and then colored with Zig clean color real brush markers and fussy cut.  The typewritten page was stamped (masking off the wording on the image) and then I stamped the CELEBRATE stamp from Christmas Wordfetti on the page and fussy cut.  My MISTI Cut-Align helped me get an easy straight cut to feed the paper in.

For the background I used the Typewriter Text Background stamp and a bit of washi tape, then sponged with antique linen distress oxide for a vintage look.

You'll definitely want to check out the full release. I've added them to the link list below. Plus there's earlybird savings if you buy the release bundle before December 9.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a fantastic day!

A wonderful card Julee -I too learnt to type on an old manual that my father had, and then I was able to buy a similar one in green... and I too have a heavy touch all these years later - no wonder my poor computer died!!
