TCP Tuesday 363 Reminder

Hi friends! It's time for a friendly reminder about this month's TCP Tuesday challenge. The theme is Holiday and any November, December, or January holiday works, so come play along!😁 Here are the challenge details...

Each month a new challenge is posted on The Cat’s Pajamas blog and Facebook page.
  • To play along, upload your design to the Inlinkz link up on The Cat’s Pajamas blog
  • The Cat’s Pajamas products are NOT required, but we do LOVE to see them!
  • Winner is announced the first Tuesday of the following month and will receive a $50 gift voucher to The Cat's Pajamas store.
Since I went non-traditional for my first sample, I decided to create a more traditional card this time. I just can't get enough of these cute little Sketchy Santas, and am so excited that Alma decided to release a die set to match them!

I colored my Santa and his bag with Copic markers, then die cut with the coordinating Sketchy Santa die set. A little stickles on his beard gave him just the right twinkle.  I wanted to have him up on a housetop, so I started assembling a gingerbread house using the Christmas Cookies dies. I cut from a few colors of cardstock for the separate pieces, embossing the main white outline with a sparkle embossing powder, then layered it all together and popped Santa up as if he had just popped out of the chimney and was off to the next stop.

Then I added a few Prima patterned papers to the background, sponging with brushed corduroy distress ink.  The sentiment is embossed onto another piece of designer paper and I hand trimmed the banner end and then wrapped some gold cording around it to finish things off.
