Jungle Boogie

Hi friends! I'm popping in today with another card I made with the new TCP Release. Have you had a chance to check out all the new goodies, yet? There's a little something for every style in this release.

If you've followed me for long, you know that I'm not really a fan of punny sentiments, but my hubby is pretty much the king of bad puns. When I saw this sentiment in the Jungle Boogie set, I just knew I'd have to make a card for him. He'll definitely get a chuckle out of it!

I started with a jungle themed piece of patterned paper and lined up the small square and rectangle from the Stitched Squares & More to cut the windows for my stamping. Next I laid this piece down in my Misti to arrange the stamps so they would fit perfectly in the window. I then picked up the stamps with the Misti lid and then changed out my paper and stamped in copic safe ink.  I colored the giraffe with Copics and then lined the two panels up and glued together. Easy peasey.

The little leaf cuts are from the new Stamped Rectangle Duo and cut from the same patterned paper as the background. Isn't it a cool die cut? I accented the card with a stitched ribbon knotted bow and a tropical flower from my stash. It's all sparkly, so I added a hint of sparkle with some glossy glaze and glitter to the giraffe's spots. Mark's a trooper and no stranger to the wily ways of my glitter loving cards! Haha!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fantastic day. Here's a look at the  Jungle Boogie  set, it's so cute! And if you have an electronic cutter, don't forget the FREE coordinating cut files.
