Easter Blessings

Hi friends! Today I'm popping in with a sweet little card I made with stamps from the March Sweet 'n Sassy Release. The stamp of the month is Doodle Florals and I just love all the swirly twirly leaves and fun doodled flowers in this set.

I started my card by making a little symmetrical panel using a few of the leaf stamps from Doodle Florals and the wreath builder template. When I had the design how I wanted it, I added a flower stamp off the edge of the four sides, then colored everything with Copic markers.

Next I printed out the Friday Freebie digi from the Sweet 'n Sassy VIP group on Facebook. This month's creative challenge in the group is the theme "New Life" and Korin uploaded this fun free digi yesterday for those who don't have any SNSS stamps yet. If you're not already a member, go check out the group, it's free to join and there are lots of fun activities and perks!

I printed the image on cardstock with a laser printer, then colored with Copic markers and die cut. I then sponged around the edges of the circle and the other panel with tumbled glass distress oxide ink.  And because everything is better with glitter, I added some Nuvo glitter drops as accents.

The sentiment is stamped with two words from the Victory in Jesus set directly on the card base. I then used the double leaf stamp from Doodle Florals at the end of the s in blessings and placed some rhinestone accents.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fabulously creative day!

What a gorgeous card, Julee! Your coloring is stunning, and I really love the way you've used Doodle Florals. I had to have this one too -- because of this card! I love it and also have this freebie. It's stunning, and I know I'm going to enjoy making cards with both of these. Hugs and love! xoxo
