Cocoa Christmas

Hey friends! I was scrolling through blogland earlier today and saw that it is National Cocoa Day! At our house we drink Ghirardelli Double Chocolate, with mini marshmallows in the cup (me), on the side (Kellan), or without (Trevor), so I knew my hot cocoa card needed to have marshmallows.

The Coffee Loving Cardmakers Crew have a fun celebration going on, with a challenge to make a hot cocoa themed card to be considered for a guest designer spot, as well as a comment prize  for commenting on their designers’ blog posts. I thought it was the perfect time to pull out a couple of sets I recently ordered from Not 2 Shabby.

The adorable penguin and cup of cocoa are from the Warm & Cozy set and colored with Copic markers. The marshmallows in front and Merry Christmas sentiment are from the November Stamp of the Month, Cup of Cheer. I hand trimmed the images with a white border and then added to some Doodlebug papers from Christmas past to finish things off

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you’re having a fabulous December!

What a wonderful and fun card Julee - I am neither a hot chocolate or marshmallow fan, but I can appreciate them on a card :)
Stay safe
