A Little Magic

Hi friends! Today I have a fun little just because card I created. My teamie Cristena recently started Copic Academy, with a wealth of information, practice worksheets, and twice weekly live Copic demonstrations. It's a lot of fun, and this week on her live she colored a couple of the long eared bunnies from TCP. I watched the replay with one eye while keeping tabs on 4 children ages 6 - 8 with the other.  That night, I snuck into the craft room to try it out from memory.  I already had this sweet little rabbit from the last release  stamped, so decided to color it up.

I'm going to have to practice a bit more on a larger image, but I did enjoy the technique for the ears, which I never really knew how to get the proper shading on before.  I colored her little fairy costume up in aqua colors, then hand trimmed and added a little stickles to make it sparkle.

The TCP Tuesday challenge this month is patterned paper. Easy peasy, since I have about two lifetimes worth of patterned paper in my collection! I chose a Hello Easter paper pad from Echo Park because it had a fun aqua print. Next I added a pink vertical strip, matted with black cardstock cut with the Apron Border CutUps.  This is probably my all-time favorite border die. It's great for both whimsical and elegant creations.

The sentiment is from the cutest little unicorn set and cut from the the Going Round & Round CutUps. I cut the two scalloped frames from four different patterns and nested to do the scalloped treatment.  I added the little bunny fairy, then thought I needed a little coffee as the magic!  This sweet little java cup is from the What the Froth set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope your day has a little magic in it!
