November Keeping Christmas Blog Hop

Hi friends! It's the 25th of the month and that means it's time to join my crafty friends once again as we share Christmas inspirations on our Keeping Christmas Blog Hop. If you're just popping in, the hop starts over on Kelly's blog. If you came from Claire's blog, then you've found your way to the next stop! 😊

I can't believe how quickly this year is flying by. Christmas is just a month away! This month I'm sharing a super quick last minute creation, because with Thanksgiving plus a memorial service for my hubby's grandmother this weekend I totally spaced the hop this month. So I whipped something up in short order, which is my usual order of business during the holidays.

I started by picking papers from the Authentique Vintage Christmas pad. I loved this journaling card with the girl topping the tree, so decided to use her as my main image.  I cut the card out then distressed the edges with antique linen and vintage twigs distress inks then popped up with foam tape. The thin black and white stripe paper and the main pinecone striped paper are from the same collection and I distressed them with the same colors. The little pinecone sprig is fussy cut from the main paper and I used a quickie glue pen and some glitter to add a little sparkle. The card is finished off with a sentiment from the Hero Arts Stacking Snowflakes set embossed in gold.

Hope this sweet little paper-centric card has inspired you to make your papers work for you this holiday crafting season. For more eye candy and inspiration, head on over to the next stop on the hop... Kim Heggins!

Thanks so much Vicki! I got them at The Craft Warehouse last year. They always have a Black Friday deal on a pad of Authentique Christmas papers. This year it's a pad with all of their Christmas designs ever. Hoping to make it over there today to pick one up. I love Authentique papers.
