Peachy Dreams with Not 2 Shabby

Hello friends! It's the 10th of the month and time for the Not 2 Shabby March Giveaway Hop on YouTube. Today's video is a card share of three new cards and the berry sweet card I posted earlier this month. You can watch it below or head to my YouTube channel.

I had so much fun making these cards. I sat down to a little crafty session and cut a bunch of different shaped tags from the pretty peach papers, then grabbed some eyelets, some seam binding, gold cording, and the Peach Perfect ephemera from the box and ran with it, making fun little clusters to use on future cards.

I used one of these clusters on this first card, picking a beautiful peach print for the background. I knew I wanted to use the cluster with the milkshake, and since milkshake glasses usually look frosty, I mimicked that look by adding a vellum overlay to the patterned paper as well as embossing the sentiment on vellum.  I did a little magic cording weaving with the tag bow, then finished off with some glossy glaze and glitter on the glass and some sparkly enamel dots for accent.

My second card features the butterfly cluster and a sentiment sticker from a Cosmo Cricket scrapbook kit from days gone by. I added some gold matting to the peach blossom paper (my favorite!) from the Watercolor Peaches paper pack. A larger cantaloupe mat finishes my focal point and I added a hint of bling with sparkly enamel dots.

My final card features the Peach Perfect stamp set from the box of the month. The stamps are exclusive to the box, but the papers and ephemera can be purchased individually. I colored up the girl image, adding in some lighter highlights to her hair to go with the gold flecks in one of the papers I chose to use. I paired that with a fun peach striped paper and added lots of gold mats for a super layer-licious kind of card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fabulous day.
