Jaded Blossom September Sneaks Day 1

Hi friends! September at Jaded Blossom always brings Halloween fun! We'll be sneaking peeks at all sorts of spooky cute new goodies each day through release this Thursday, September 7. Today the team is sharing their first looks at the Gnome Dies: Spooky Add Ons, Spooky Season, Spooky Season Outline Dies, and the Candy Corn Layering Stencil.

I am definitely crushing on the new Candy Corn Layering Stencil. I don't enjoy eating this candy, but it's a favorite of mine for decorating. And now for making backgrounds! I've tried all sorts of fun color combos, and they all look fabulous.  For today's card I used It's a Girl and Tiki Torch Catherine Pooler Inks, and Black Soot Distress Oxide. The panel is cut with my old standby, the Card Mat Die.

Next I moved on to our party loving gnome girl. I just had to dress her up in the candy corn hat from the Gnome Dies: Spooky Add Ons, adding some bling because a girl needs to sparkle!  Her dress is cut from some googly eye paper, which I accented with glossy accents to make them stand out. For her legs, I pulled out last year's Gnome Dies: Costume Add Ons 2 set for her legs and sparkly witches boots.

I love the new little ghosty balloon and dressed it up with a sentiment from Spooky Season embossed in white on black card stock and then cut with the coordinating Spooky Season Outline Dies. Once I assembled all the pieces and set it on the background there was a lot going on. I decided to soften the look with a vellum Scallop Oval die cut behind. Then I divided the background with the ghost banner from the previously released Halloween Banner Dies, colored in coordinating colors.
