Flip Flapping Fun Day

Hello crafty friends! Today I'm popping in with a fun card I made with the latest Picket Fence Studios release. How cool is this seashore background? it's the Scene Building: Seashore cover plate from the new release. I cut it from white cardstock, then used different mediums on each piece to really pack some punch with the texture.

The top portion uses Ocean Poppy Paper Glaze and a bit of pouncing with Snowdrop White Paper Glaze. The next layer was ink blended with tumbled glass distress ink, then pounced with Snowdrop White Paper Glaze. The third layer was coated with Mint Hydrangea Paper Glaze. For the sandy layer, I added a few drops of antique linen and brushed corduroy reinkers to a bit of Sparkle Paper Glitz and pounded it onto the cardstock.  

The sentiment and images are from the Summer Beach Friends Dear set, cut with the coordinating dies. This was such a fun card to create!
