More My Monthly Hero

Hi friends! I'm popping in today with a couple more cards I created with the September My Monthly Hero kit and add-ons. For each September kit sold, $1 will be donated to help those impacted by the devastation and displacement caused by Hurricane Dorian.

These were a bit simpler than my other cards, so I decided to save them for another day, rather than make my Blog Hop & Giveaway post a mile long!

First up is the adorable cat from the I See Crafting set. I colored him in with Copic markers, then cut out with the coordinating frame cuts. The happy halloween is a word die from the September My Monthly Hero Kit and I layered it up three times and then blended with fruit punch, creamsicle and lemon drop reactive inks.  I smooshed the same three inks onto another piece of cardstock and then cut the leaf image from Curiosities Silhouette Fancy Dies several times and added it to the card.

My next card uses more of those die cut leaves to form a wreath, with the Autumn greetings sentiment from the September kit as the focal point.  I added this to a panel of the beautiful wood abachi paper and matted with the rich copper paper included in the kit.  Finished off with a bit of twine.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fabulous day!

Love the colorful leaves on both your cards. The expression on the kitty's face is adorable.

Fabulous cards Julee - love the colours, in the second one, the drama of the colours against the black background is stunning
