Hi friends! It's the final week of August. How did that happen!? The boys now have a week of school under their belts, but boy was it a doozy of a week. Three calls from the front office in 5 days. Nothing bad, just a mix-up on bussing the first day and keeping us informed of some delicate issues at school. Let's hope this week is less eventful!
Today's card is one I shared on the SNSS Blog for the SNSS + My Sweet Petunia Blog Hop. I had a lot of fun using a rock'n roll technique with the MISTI to achieve some pretty shading on these beautiful daisies.
The stems and leaves are done with a little masking and the help of the Doodle Flowers set. Love those swirly twirly vines. I finished off with a little ink blending in the background and a sweet little sentiment from the Sentimental Wordfetti set, embossed in white on black.
