Cup of Tea

Hi friends! Welcome to another blog post. I'm happy to say it's almost the weekend! Sad that the summer seems to be flying by so quickly, though. The boys go back to school mid-August, so I'm trying to soak up some time with them and still get a little time for myself, too. This morning I'm sipping a cup of tea trying to nurse a sore throat. Yesterday there was a wildfire not far from our house and the smoke took my asthma for a ride! Tea with honey is just the thing, though, so today I thought I'd share a new card using a new tea set!

Today's card uses the ADORABLE new Tea for Two set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I just can't even with the cuteness of this set.  I put those colored images I showed yesterday to use in this clean and {sort of} simple card. Lots of white space with a bit of blue I added by blending on some tumbled glass distress oxide and then stamping in the same color withe the grid stamp from Texture Tiles 1.  All the images were stamped in jet black amalgam ink, colored with Copics and then fussy cut.

The sentiment is cut out with a circle die and then I added one of the sweet little ladybug images to it. Had fun creating a few little clusters of stamps, then finished off with a black mat. Paw-sitively adorable, don't you think?
