TCP Sneaky Peek Week Day 4

Hi friends! It's Day 4 of Sneaky Peek Week for The Cat's Pajamas! Alma has some super cool winter sets for you this Christmas in July. Each day through release day, July 30, the Cat Pack will be treating you to a peek at a new stamp set. Look for the In it to Win it graphic and leave a little comment love on those posts for a chance to win a Cat Cash gift code to the shop! Sets are available as they are peeked, so if you see a must-have there's no need to wait.

Today's featured products are Yeti Christmas and the Village Snowglobe CutUps. This little yeti is fabulous and has so many little builder options to keep him cruising all winter long.

I put my Silhouette Cameo to the test again with the coordinating free downloadable cut files. After stamping the yeti on the cut out, I added the arms and ornament stamp, then colored up in blues. That new Blizzard Stencil and Big Beautiful Blending Brush are getting mad love from me. I used them to create the background, inking with broken china and iced spruce distress oxides.

The have yourself a yeti little Christmas sentiment is stamped onto a die cut circle, the matted with black to make it stand out.  I finished off with some of the beautiful clear holographic holeless sequins. I love how these pick up that hint of blue from the card.

Next I moved on to the fabulous new Village Snowglobe CutUps. I cut the whole thing from brown cardstock, then cut again from white cardstock, and then cut just the outer large shape for the background.  I reserved the white snowbank pieces from the white die cut, then used the rest of the die cut as a stencil to add in squeezed yellow blending for the lights in the village. I then masked that portion off and blended stormy skies and chipped sapphire for the sky.  I layered it all together, embossing the white snowbanks and the brown village piece in sparkle embossing powder for some extra shine.

I mounted the layered snowglobe on foam sheet and added a white cut out of the new Happy Holidays die up top. Don't you just love that lettered look? For the background of the card, I blended frayed burlap onto the edges of the card, then added some snowflakes using the Great Outdoors Stencil and some modeling paste.

Alrighty, now it's time to see what my other teamies are sharing today. Leave a little love at each of their blogs today for a chance to win the drawing! Check out all the details on the TCP Blog.

Lovin' all the wintery blue goodness of your yeti card, Julee, and the use of brown card stock for your snowglobe card - makes me think of gingerbread! Your cards are great inspiration and showcasing of the Yeti Christmas stamp set and Village Snowglobe CutUps!
