Wings

Hi friends!  Happy Wednesday and happy August!  Today I have a fun little card to share that was inspired by one of the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges going on over at SCS this week.  There are lots of awesome stampy prizes to be won, including some Verve, so if you haven't already, check it out!

I wanted to add a bit of happy to my day, so I chose the Hello Summer papers from Echo Park and went with a fun, flirty look for the card.  My idea was to sew lots of colorful hearts together, using the From the Heart Die Set and the Wavy Hearts Die Set.  I've never been very good at sewing, so I purposely sew wonky whenever I sew.

The sentiment and winged heart are from the Wings of Love set.  I added a little border strip cut with the Queen of Hearts CutUps from TCP and embossed the bottom layer with a hearts folder from Sizzix.  A little distressing and some doodled edges on all the hearts and I was done.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Hope you have a fantastic middle of the week!

Enabler's List:
Stamps:  Wings of Love (Verve Stamps)
Paper: Hello Summer (Echo Park), white
Ink: Black Archival (Ranger), Copic multiliner
Accessories:  From the Heart Die Set, Wavy Hearts Die Set (A Cut Above by VERVE), Queen of Hearts Border CutUps (TCP), ribbon (SU!), sewing machine, hearts folder (Sizzix)
