Oriental Kitty

When I was at Cindy's I just HAD to make a card with her Oriental Kitty stamp from Pink Cat Studio. How could I resist a geisha kitty? It just wouldn't be right! LOL

I started by stamping Oriental Kitty in Black Stazon on Pearlized White cardstock and coloring in with markers (Real Red and Going Grey) and a gold gel pen. I then stamped the Asian characters stamp from Oriental Plate #1 on the side and pierced around the edges with my mat pack and paper piercer.

Next I wrapped gold cord around a piece of Scarlet's Letter Basic Grey paper and used my photo corner punches as a template to dot photo corners with my gold gel pen in opposite corners. For the final touch, I added two rhinestone bobby pins (JoAnn's $1 bin) to opposite corners of the card and glued down the oriental kitty panel. She turned out pretty cute, don't ya think? :)

  3. I saw this on SCS and commented and then came over here to find it again so had to comment again - because I absolutely love it. This is one of the stamp sets I got when I was at a convention about 2 weeks ago. That background paper works soooo well with that stamp, thanks for including the info about that as well, hopefully I will be able to locate it in Oz!
