I started by stamping the stocking images from Jolly Jingles directly onto patterned paper, then hand cutting and sponging with distress inks. I colored the brims of each sock with a white gel pen, then stamped the sentiment on a die cut circle, adding some sponging around the edges here as well.
Next I layered three different pieces of paper for my pennant banners and a couple doilies underneath those. I accented the top of the card with some vintage lace and a paper poinsettia that's been sitting in the stash for years. I wanted to tie in the gold doily a bit more, so added a bit of chunky glass glitter to the flower. Everything is on a base of cream cardstock embossed with snowflakes and sponged lightly with distress inks.
