Like a Wildflower

Hi y'all!  Happy Wednesday!  Today I have another card I made before I left to share with you.  I've actually made a ton of cards while here in Montana, but I didn't bring my camera and didn't want to make Laurie do all my dirty work for me!  LOL  :)

This card uses an adorable little Seed Packet Template that's included in Kelleigh Ratzlaff's May Grab Bag and also uses digi papers from the Something to Celebrate kit by Sugarplum Paperie.  (Both of these are on sale through the end of the month!)

Last time I used this paper, I went bright and colorful, but this time I chose a more subdued, shabby approach. I love papers that lend themselves to a variety of styles, and I particularly love this diamond print paper!  I printed the seedpacket template on Kraft, then cut out, inked the edges with Vintage Photo and left the cute little flap open to tuck a little surprise into.  The sentiment is from te Feel the Sun set, stamped in Fired Brick.  I made the flower with a few flower punches and a pearl center, then I made some little leaves from the diamond paper.  The lace is from Webster's Pages and I added some bling, some buttons and a cute little linen thread bow to finish things off.

  3. I can't imagine you and Laurie in the same craft room...that's simply too much mojo and creative talent for one room to hold! LOL. Love the style of your card...perfect for tucking some money or gift card in the little pocket!
