Hi friends! It's time for the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps May Inspiration Hop over on Instagram. Click on over to my IG feed to hop along for a chance to win a $25 gift code to the SNSS shop.

I don't know about you, but I'm a sucker for background stamps. 😍And boy, is this month's NEW Shiplap Background fabulous! It's a 6x6" set, perfect for covering an entire card front, and the detail in the wood grain is fabulous.

For this card I stamped the background in weathered wood distress oxide, and the results made me gasp! It was that easy!  All the things need to be shiplapped now.  LOL!

The new Mixed Up Stencil has a mish mash of encouraging words, but I decided to mask off all but the word CREATE. Once everything was masked off I used mini blending brushes to blend a rainbow with kitsch flamingo, squeezed lemonade, twisted citron, salvaged patina, and shaded lilac distress oxide.  Then before I pulled up the stencil, I wiped it clean and added a layer of Stickles Moon Dust Glitter Gel for a whole lot of sparkle. The paintbrush is from the previously released In His Image set (still a fave of mine). I colored it with Copic markers then fussy cut and glued below the sentiment.  I finished by adding the sentiment panel on dimensional foam, as well as matting the layers with black cardstock

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope your day is super creative!
