Encouraging Thoughts and Wildflowers

Hi friends! It's the first day of a new month, and that means there's a brand new release of awesome stamps in the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps shop today!

May always gets me in the mood to color pretty flowers, and the new Consider the Wildflowers set has them in spades! I paired the blooms in this beautiful set with the May Stamp of the Month... Encouraging Thoughts. This sentiment set has so many great phrases and during the month of May you can get it as a FREE gift with a $75 purchase in the store.

To start I stamped the wildflowers out on smooth bristol paper and then colored with Copic markers and hand trimmed. These were so fun to color.  I knew I wanted a dimensional flower for the first card, so stamped that image twice, then fussy cut the center flower only and layered on top of the full stamped image with foam tape. For the background, I smooshed a little hickory smoke distress oxide onto white cardstock. Then I chose a strip of patterned paper and added the sentiment.

For the next card, I wanted that big flower cluster to take center stage. So I chose a fun black and white patterned paper background, then popped the image up on foam tape. The sentiment is stamped directly on the card base.

If you love the whole release, you can pick up the May Early Bird Bundle at a special price through May 9.

And remember this card? Well, the In This Together digital set has been turned into a physical stamp set!  Hooray! Korin added a few more sentiments to the In This Together clear stamp set and it's available now!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fabulous start to this new month!
