March Reverse Confetti New Release Blog Hop

Hi friends! It's time for another fantastic New Release Hop with Reverse Confetti! This is their 50th release and it's just as awesome as all the others!

Products are shipping now, so head on over to the shop to check out all the new goodies. I've linked up all the new products in the link list at the bottom of this post. Plus be sure to use coupon code PAPER for 20% off all 6x6 pads through next weekend!

I just couldn't wait to do a little copic coloring with the beautiful images in the Tulips set. I stamped them all out, and then chose my colors to coordinate with the Sweet as Sugar pad. Once everything was colored, I die cut with the coordinating Tulips Confetti Cuts.

Next I moved on to the sentiment, masking it off to stamp in two lines inside a small circle.  I then stamped the tulip image off the edge and colored in coordinating colors.  This is framed by the Circle Tag Confetti Cuts cut from white cardstock and popped up on foam tape with a circle backing of the heart print from the same paper pad.  I assembled everything to my liking and then cut the background paper to fit, matting with a thin strip of black, then adding to a panel of white that I embossed with a chicken wire embossing folder.  This whole panel is popped up on a foam sheet on the card base for some added dimension.

Next I pulled out the adorable new Chalk it Up set. I saw that chalk set and immediately thought of the chalkboard easels we have for the boys. When they were younger I would frequently see a rainbow appear on them.  So I just knew I had to put a rainbow on the chalkboard.

I drew in the rainbow with Copic markers, then outlined the color separations with a black pen and colored around it with warm gray markers for a chalkboard look.   I finished coloring the other images in coordinating colors then die cut with the coordinating Chalk it Up Confetit Cuts.  The sentiment is embossed in white onto black cardstock and then I smudged it up a bit with white pigment ink for a chalky look.  The background is iced aqua cardstock blended with iced aqua and RC aqua inks and then embossed with a diagonal stripes embossing folder.  I finished off with a stitched ribbon bow and a few enamel dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I had so much fun creating these projects with you and I just know you're going to LOVE this release! Guess what? There is still more inspiration to be found along this hop! Be sure and check out each of these talented artists for their creations with this fabulous new release. Happy hopping!

Your next stop on the hop is the talented Amy Tsuruta.

Fabulous cards Julee - love what you have done with the bear and chalkboard, but the card that stole my heart is the tulip one - that is exquisite, especially the way you have tucked the few blooms into the border of the sentiment panel!
