Speaking of Super Sponsors, Sweet 'n Sassy is on that list! They have a sweet new release in the shop today, so I decided to put a little coffee loving spin on one of the sets.
The NEW Snow Much Fun set is just adorable. A group of fun loving snow friends and some lovely snowflakes make this set a must have. I started with the little ice skating snow friend, coloring with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a glitter brush pen. Then I masked off his little skates and stamped the coffee cup from Fill Me Up so it looks like he's skating on top of the lid. I then embossed the snowflakes and the let it snow sentiment in black on the cup, then colored with the Sig markers and fussy cut.
For the background, I set up all of the snowflakes in a corner of my MISTI, then stamped and rotated, repeating in all four corners with wilted violet and worn lipstick distress inks. I then added a few more solo snowflakes here and there and embossed the whole panel in clear embossing powder so the ink wouldn't react when I blended the background. I chose distress inks in spun sugar, worn lipstick, and wilted violet to blend the background, then I ran the whole panel through my die cut machine with my trusty old Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder. I lightly sanded the front, to make the embossed dots look more like snow, then added a seam binding bow. Snowflake embellishments and some purple jingle bells finish off this card.
