Jumper Cables

Hi friends! I'm back from our family vacation, and thankfully no jumper cables were needed during our road trip! Coffee, on the other hand, was a necessity. Thankfully there was a Starbucks right outside our hotel to fuel me on. The boys rode their first roller coaster, which they survived but thought was a bit too intense to try again. They did love all of the other rides we went on, though. We played laser tag, drove go karts, ate way too much, and had all sorts of family fun. I tend to get super anxious when I'm traveling, but this was probably the most relaxed I've felt in years. A truly great vacation.

Anyway, on with today's card. The new Oil Always Love You set from The Cat's Pajamas totally makes me giggle. Everybody's favorite long-eared bunny is decked out as a mechanic, but he needs a little help from coffee! Along with a coffee sentiment, there are also some super cute car themed sentiments perfect for masculine cards. I particularly like the you're not old, you're a classic sentiment! 😆

You know I had to go for the coffee sentiment, first, though! I stamped the bunny and accessory images from the set, colored with Copics and fussy cut the images. If you have a machine cutter, free downloadable cutting files are available on the website. I chose a couple of fun stripe papers from the Reverse Confetti Sweet Stripes paper pad, using a thin strip to ground my scene, and the red and white stripes to mat my card panel. I just love red, white and blue together!

The sentiment is embossed in white on black cardstock and I added the tool images next to it for a fun accent, coating the tools and the bunny nose with the crystal clear lacquer pen for some shine.
