Birthday

Hi friends! We had a fabulous Thanskgiving heading out to two different feasts. So much food! 👀
We even took the boys on their first Black Friday excursion. Only had to go to two stores before we found the deal we were wanting for our family present. Hooray!

My sister's birthday was this week, so I had to hit pause on holiday creating for a bit to make a birthday card for her. I used the new Presents Background and the older Happy Stamp & Cut, as well as some liquid watercolors and glimmer metallic inks from Hero Arts.

I started by stamping the background in Intense Black ink onto watercolor paper. I then watercolored all the presents with a mix of deep ocean, indigo, pine, moss and white liquid watercolors. When this was dry, I added in all the accents with pewter glimmer metallic ink and a few details with a silver gel pen.

The happy is die cut four times and glued together for thickness. I embossed the birthday sentiment in white on a black strip of cardstock, then layered this onto a bit of vellum and finished off with some bling. Easy peasy!
