To Love

Hi everyone! Did you have a great weekend? Mine was so awesome... filled with not too much work, a movie and quite a bit of stamping. Just perfect! It's Monday, so it's time for another Mojo Monday sketch. For my card, I pulled out my new BasicGrey Green at Heart paper pad and the Easter Joy and Feel the Sun stamp sets from Verve.

I took most of my inspiration directly from the papers. I stamped the flower from Easter Joy a couple times on white CS, then colored with copics and paper pieced, adding some Stickles accents and a pink pearl for some sparkle. For the bottom panel, I embossed one of the Organic Flourish Cuttlebug borders across the panel and then sanded to make it more visible. The top of this layer is also punched with an SU! border punch and I added a few little pearls in between the loopy scallops for accent. The flower panel is matted on pumpkin pie CS and I added some Rock Candy crackle paint to distress it, then a coat of Pearlized Top Coat Smooch for some shine.

The sentiment from Feel the Sun is embossed in white and cut out with Nestabilities circles, then I added a little piercing and a top row of pearls to set things off. I finished off with some rich razzleberry mats and a couple rounded corners.

What's In It?
Stamps: Easter Joy, Feel the Sun (Verve)
Paper: Green at Heart (BasicGrey), White, pumpkin, razzleberry (SU!)
Ink: Versamark, A Muse Black Dye ink, Copic markers
Accessories: Square & Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), white taffeta, border punch (SU!), Organic Flourishes embossing border (Cuttlebug), Round-it-all (Zutter), paper piercer, pearls, Stardust Stickles
