As I was trying to catch up on my blog reading last night, I ran across Heather's post on Ribbons and Ink. She had colored a piece of Au Chocolat paper and wanted to know what to do with it. Well, I had a piece of Au Chocolat sitting on my desk, and I thought it looked like a cool idea, so I sat down to make a card using the paper and a neglected set for yesterday's Limited Supply challenge. This set sadly has never seen ink in it's 6 months in my home. Poor neglected set! I started by coloring in my piece of Au Chocolat with Pretty in Pink and Bashful Blue Markers. Next I stamped the Love Ya Bunches image in Timber Brown Stazon on Very Vanilla. I colored the image with Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery markers and prismacolors and Gamsol. I then doodled a frame around it and matted on Chocolate Chip and Bashful Blue.
I adhered the Au Chocolat piece to a Bashful Blue card base and ran it through my Cuttlebug using the Textile folder. Next I added a light pink, and light blue grosgrain knotted bow and added the image panel on thick foam squares. The final touch was just a hint of Stardust Stickles to highlight the image. Nothing too fancy, but I've been sick, so it was a triumph just to be able to finish a card!

Great card! This is one of the first sets I ever used! So pretty. Love the chocolate brown!
BTW, I got BINGO this morning, but it's not an H, T, X or Blackout. Figures!
