Thinking of You

Hi friends! It's April and there's a gorgeous new release in the shop at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. Stamps are one of those things making me happy right now. Unfortunately with the added work load of homeschooling, there hasn't been as much time for it as I thought there would be! Instead, I've stamped all my release images out and am slowly working through coloring them as I have a few minutes here and there. Such a fun way to fill in parts of my day!

The new Country Garden set stole my heart with it's gorgeous shabby chic farmhouse feel, so I colored up this lovely chair image in a soft palette, opting for neutrals for my mats and background.

For the background, I stamped the previously released Delightfully Delicate Background tone on tone on stone (that's fun to say!) cardstock, then sponged around the edges.  I absolutely love this background stamp! I added a touch of lace from my stash and a few paper flowers to accent the sentiment circle, then finished off the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! It's been a crazy month or so with the pandemic, school closure, and a 6.5 earthquake here in Idaho on Tuesday. We're all fine and no damage, but it shook us up a little. We're supposed to be hanging out in our safe havens, and suddenly our havens don't feel quite as safe as they had seemed a few days ago!

I've linked up the entire April release below if you want to check it out. The Early Bird Bundle is a great way to save a little money. And don't forget the April Stamp of the Month is a free gift with your $75 order (it can also be purchased if you just have to have it!)

Compensated affiliate links are used where possible. When you place an order after clicking one of my links, I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thanks so much for shopping from my links and supporting this blog. It is so very appreciated.💙

Oh what a beauty Julee - loving the lace, but then I am a sucker for lace of any kind! It 'fits' the image beautifully, and that background is so subtle and gorgeous.
Stay safe
