Be Awesome

Hi friends! It's Monday again already! Today I'm popping in with a fun little card I made for the sketch challenge over in the SNSS VIP Facebook Group this month. It's a fun little sketch I designed, so if you've got some SNSS stamps, come play along with us!

This card started with the FABULOUS flamingo from the Be a Flamingo set (currently on sale!). I colored her with Zig clean color brush markers, then fussy cut so she could be the focal point of my card.

Next I stenciled black soot distress oxide ink onto a card base.  I don't often think to stencil with black, but it sure does pack a punch here with that splashy flamingo!  To make her pop even more, I sponged more black soot onto a circle die cut to place a little spotlight behind her.

The little page flag up top uses the be from the flamingo set and awesome from the Heart Candy set.
