Wishing You Joy

Hi friends! Happy Monday! I'm popping in today to share a card I made for one of the VIP stampathon challenges at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I love how this one turned out, aquas and yellows are my jam!

My background was done with distress oxides, using the packaging technique to smoosh the colors onto cardstock, drying between each color.  I had recently seen a stamp set someone had shown with alphabet letters that had flowers on them. Sorry, I can't seem to find the post or remember what company it was. But it inspired me to pull out the Chunky Lowercase Alpha and the Itty Bitty Blossoms sets from SNSS and try to create a similar look.

The letters in joy are stamped in black, then I highlighted with some white gel pen accents.  I stamped several of the flowers and greenery from the Itty Bitty Blossoms set and then colored with Copics in blues, yellows and greys and then fussy cut.  I then layered all these pieces together and matted with a gray scalloped circle.

I added the wishing you from the So Grateful set and a little butterfly from Itty Bitty Blossoms, then doodled a frame around the panel and distressed the edges to finish things off.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful start to your week!
