November Reverse Confetti New Release Blog Hop

Hi friends! It's time for another fantastic New Release Hop with Reverse Confetti! This release is simply wonderful, you'll definitely want to head to the shop to check out all of the fabulous new products!

Products are shipping now, so head on over to the shop to check out all the new goodies. I've linked up all the new products in the link list at the bottom of this post.

I had the privilege of playing with three of the new release sets, so let's get to it.

First up is the heartfelt Beautiful Memories set. How I love these fabulous sympathy and encouragement sentiments, and the two bluebell images are just so lovely.  I colored them up with Zig clean color real brush markers and cut with the coordinating confetti cuts. I selected the holding you in my heart sentiment, and decided to use the Hearts Stencil to play on the sentiment. (Sorry the stencil is now retired, I didn't realize until I went to link it up!) I blended navy ink on navy cardstock over the stencil, then embossed the sentiment in white and cut with the Square Window Tag Confetti Cuts, using just the inner portion.  I then matted with white cardstock, rounding the corners.

For the background I used the same Hearts Stencil, blending with Iced Aqua and Navy inks.  I little  Sweet Stripes paper strip breaks up the layout and I finished by layering everything together and adding a bit of upholstery thread.

Next I pulled out the adorable new Birdie Buddies set. These sweet little birdies stole my heart! I stamped them all out in black and then colored with Zig markers and a wink of stella glitter brush. I cut them out with the coordinating confetti cuts.

I thought these little birdies would make the perfect little scene for a thank you card from our whole family, so pulled out the awesome new Thank You set. I stamped it in grape ink and then die cut with the coordinating Thank You Confetti Cuts. I then cut two more layers with the die cut, then glued them all together for added thickness.  I decided where I wanted the words to go, then stamped the from all of us sentiment below. A bit of Fright Night (Another retired one! Must be time to cull my stash again.) paper provided a fun backdrop for my winter scene, and I finished with a trim of grosgrain ribbon and a few little sparkly rhinestones for the berries on the tree branch. Super cute!

While I had the two sets out, I started on another card. I thought it would be fun to have this sweet little birdie sledding down a hill, so started by creating a stenciled background using grape soda ink and the Lotsa Dots Stencil, I placed it at an angle so the bottom corner would be open.

Next I pulled out the Thank You sentiment and used my MISTI to ink it up the top section with iced aqua and the bottom section with grape soda ink, for a two toned effect.  I matted this sentiment strip with grape soda cardstock and the Double Edge Scallop Border confetti cuts, then glued down to my panel at an angle and trimmed off the excess.

I stamped the sentiment from the Birdie Buddies set in the corner, then stamped an alternating row of music notes below in iced aqua and grape soda.  I then added my birdie, a little music notes die cut and a fussy cut heart from the heart and leaves image in the set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I had so much fun sharing these projects with you. Guess what? There is still so much more inspiration to be found along this hop! Be sure and check out each of these talented artists for their creations with this fabulous new release. Happy hopping!

Your next stop on the hop is the talented Audrey Tokach.
