Hi friends! I'm back with another card for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. The hop kicks off today and runs through Friday, May 10. The background is another one made possible by the fabulous new colors of Dyestress Blendable Inks. This time I did something a little different, though. I pulled out my gelli plate and inked it up with mint, caribbean and tahiti, then laid down some Rolling Hills die cuts in different directions before pulling my print. I love the ocean feel it gave! Can't you just almost feel the surf?
I cut down my print to card size, then used the excess to cut the Rolling Hills die once more to layer across my card. I then used a piece of cardstock I had used to clean up my gelli plate for the sentiment panel. The sentiment and piggy are from the adorable Year of the Pig set. I watercolored the image with blendable inks, then stamped a teeny coffee cup from Sponsored By for my piggy to be chillaxin' with.
My final accent were some seashells from the By the Sea Confetti Mix, which seemed custom made for this card!
