Missing Mojo

Welcome to a brand new week! I've been under the weather so I don't have a new card to share with you.  I do have a couple things I'd like to mention, though.  First off, there's a new Mojo Monday sketch today.  This week's sketch was inspired by this card I posted here a couple weeks back showcasing the new Glad Tidings set and Sweet Scallop Die.  I had every intention of making a brand new card with the modifications I made to the sketch, but even a box of brand new goodies from Emma's Paperie couldn't lure me and my sickness away from the couch this weekend.  :(

I'm actually still feeling pretty rotten, so I'm planning a day of one of my favorite sick day entertainment options - the BBC Production of Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice.  Speaking of Pride & Prejudice, this past Saturday was the 100th Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge and they're putting on a big bash!  This week's inspiration is Pride & Prejudice and there are PRIZES up for grabs!  You could win some Verve or some other stampy goodness by playing along! You've got TWO WEEKS to play, so head on over to their official challenge post for all the details!  They even have some helpful ideas for those of us who are inspiration challenge challenged.  :-)

Okay, thanks so much for stopping by today!  I'm going to console my sick little self with 6 hours of Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett in Blu-Ray High Definition, then hopefully later this week play along with this fun challenge!

Hope you feel better soon honey. A good dose of P&P will make you feel better for sure. My daughter must have watched it 100 and can probably recite every word... hugs Sharon

P&P is out on Blu-Ray?!! Oh, that may have to go on my Christmas list. Funny, some friends and I were just talking about Pride and Prejudice this weekend - we all agreed the best scene is when Elizabeth and Darcy are gazing at each other across the piano. Sigh. And don't you just love to hate Mrs. Bennett. I watch it at least once a year, great when my hubby is out of town on business. Hope you're feeling better soon!

Bummer...I hope you feel better soon, though this IS the time of the year where things are often cruddy. Today here it is 36 this morning, but it will be 70 when I get off today. That is PRIME for getting all sorts of sick.

Anyway, love the card..the colors are fantastic and I cannot wait to play along with the new challenge.

Oh, Julee, that's too bad, although lying on the couch with Colin Firth sounds like the perfect medicine :) I watched Pride and Prejudice this Saturday, but it was the newest film with Kiera Knightly...Blockbuster didn't have the Colin Firth one, so I will have to track it down...can you believe I've never seen the movie? Watched it for the Cinema Saturday celebration :) Feel better soon!!

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well, Julee. Know you always push the envelope during release time and the fact you had two in one month makes it doubly busy!

I have never seen the movie or read the book!! Think I'll have to add it to my list. Card is gorgeous and loving the sketch this week too. Feel better soon :)
